My History:

At the young age of six, I wanted to be a hands-on builder like my maternal Swedish grandfather, Andy Anderson, because his meticulous artistic craftsmanship inspired my desire to create structures.  He is pictured above in both photos.

My professional life started over 45 years ago as a painter then expanded into other trades when my clients requested different services.

I am always reading and talking with craftspeople about the latest technologies and products so I can provide up-to-date information to my clients.

My craft of building, remodeling, restoring and repairing is my  passion.

My background includes:

  • Remodeling commercial and residential dwellings

  • Building Texaco, American Oil and CITGO service stations

  • Franchised Builder for the Kirby Building Systems

  • Constructing marine structure

  • Designing and building new homes

This is the first home I designed and built.

In Remembrance of my Beloved Woody

Woody was born on Halloween in 2003 in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.  He joined our family at 8 weeks of age weighing 8 lbs.  He was a handsome lively boy!
Till his early retirement in 2008, Woody worked occasionally watching over my work shop tools.  Ask him if he wanted to go to work, he would quickly turn away; he rather hang out in the kitchen.  Woody loved to take walks, sniff the greenery and wafting scents, chew his tasty bones, bark at fellow canines, enthusiastically greet people and talk to his human Momma.  He loved to communicate!
Woody was a happy dog who enjoyed his human friends, especially DJ who lived down the street and Dawn our next door neighbor.  Woody always looked for them as Ann walked Woody in the neighborhood.
On March 16th he had a big seizure lasting 2-1/2 scary minutes after which his health sharply declined.   He left us on March 31, 2017 with aching hearts.  He was 13 years and 5 months old.  He was the best dog and friend.
